Privacy Policy

1. What we don't collect

The developer does not collect, store or share any of your personal information. The app works without requiring your name, email, phone number or any login.

2. Data stored on your device

Your settings and practice activity are stored locally on your device, for example:

• Chanting history, mala bead counts and meditation durations.
• Reminders, events and personal preferences (language, sounds, etc.).
• In-app search history.

You can remove this data at any time by uninstalling the app.

3. iCloud sync

So you can use the app across devices, it may sync data through your own Apple iCloud account. This data lives in your iCloud and is protected by Apple — the developer cannot access it. iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. On-device AI

The AI verse-explanation feature (on iOS 26.1+ with an Apple Intelligence–capable device) runs entirely on your device. Verse content is not sent to our servers or any third party.

5. Network connections

The app loads some images (e.g. temple photos and illustrations) and static content from the internet. These requests may include standard technical information such as IP address and device type, handled by infrastructure/CDN providers to deliver the content — not to identify you.

6. No ads, no tracking

Om Mani shows no ads, uses no third-party tracking SDKs, and does not sell or share data for advertising.

7. Notifications

With your permission, the app sends local notifications to remind you of holy days, events and practice sessions. You can turn these off anytime in iOS Settings.

8. Children

The app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+) and does not collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
